September 26th, 2009 Goals and Life
Life’s up and downs provide windows of opportunity to determine your values and goals. Think of using all obstacles as stepping stones to build the life you want.
~Marsha Sinetar
Goals are an amazing ideal. They separate those merely dreaming from those doing. As I read a blog post at Popping Bubbles this week, I was drawn to the immense list of goals written; set in stone and shouted in a humble way across the world. As I reflected upon my own life and directions I wish to take both personally and professionally, I found a drive to partake in the countdown to 2010 goal-style.
The following goals are all of my own, intended to set my future in stone and provide a driving force forward into success in all areas of my life. I look forward to sharing my map as we journey into 2010.
- Move
- Establish my brand
- Those of you who have followed the many blogs I’ve maintained over the years see an eclectic blend in writing styles. It is now time for me to truly decide which way I want to go with my writing business and where to focus. “Brand Mysti” is about to become a permanent fixture in all that I encompass.

I invite all of you to join me in the countdown to 2010 goal style as many others are around the ‘net. Thank you to Popping Bubbles for the idea!

I really love this idea, Mysti. I have a running to-do list on Todoist.com which I’m sure has more than 100 things that need doing but many have no specific time allotment or deadline set and some are routine or rather general.
I love how you’ve included some of the big goals and offered a break down so that you can see some of the smaller steps along the road to successfully accomplishing the larger goals.
Go for it and I’m going to join you! I’ll get started on my list of tonight and will post it on The Inner Core.

Mysti… I absolutely love the way the goals are set up. I will also join you in the countdown to 2010 by setting up my own.

Absolutely Fabulous! I have lists all over the place and some are tied to certain projects while others are more personal in nature. I’ve had to combine all of the above and break it down to move smoothly through the rest of the year.
I can’t wait to see what your list holds and we’ll push forward together!

My goodness, you’ve been planning–and precisely at that! I absolutely love it, Mysti! I love the goals, the planning, and I know you’ll continue working very hard to achieve it all. But, gosh, it makes a gal tired reading all this. LOL!

Quite true!! And many incorporate the revenue into a steady income stream! It’s a win-win for many!

I can’t wait to read it when you’ve got yours finished!! I learned long ago that if I have a very detailed list and actually map out the way you plan to achieve the main goal listed, you offer check-points along the way. That aids in staying on course and ultimate success!

It is going to be a very busy end of the year for us. I know this and have to plan accordingly!! And everyone wonders why I push through feeling ill instead of just resting and getting better. (That is a goal for 2010, I promise!)
I look forward to the changes coming! As it stands, our offer was accepted about 8:30 this morning! We are most definitely moving!
